Maureen Fox
EXPERIENCE:
Ms. Fox currently performs a wide range of appraisal services involving a variety of property types and appraisal assignments including the valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, 2-4 and multi-family buildings, vacant land, residential subdivisions, subsidized housing, shopping centers, and office buildings. Her experience encompasses Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware Counties.
Ms. Fox’s knowledge in real estate appraising began in 1991 with Geraldine Dougherty Company where she learned the basics of real estate appraising through the hands on instruction given by an SRA designated real estate appraiser. This was further enforced through the extensive training given by two MAI designated appraisers at Equity Appraisal Company from 1995 to 1998.
Ms. Fox worked for Jackson-Cross Company from 1990 to 1991, where she assisted in the management of a 180,000 square foot office park. Her responsibilities included all building operations, lease administration, budgeting/financial control, and tenant interaction.
EDUCATION
Ms. Fox is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate. She has also completed various courses given by the Appraisal Institute including Appraisal Principles, Appraisal Procedures, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Parts A & B, Residential Case Study, and Income Capitalization Part A. Ms. Fox has also taken courses in such topics as appraisal theory, real estate investment analysis, and fair housing laws given by the Philadelphia Board of Realtors.
